Is SkinPen painful?
Our process: We apply a topical numbing cream prior to the treatment to ensure your comfort. There will be areas that feel like a tickle, and a few areas that you may feel a slight stinging sensation. Most of our clients say it is a 2/10 on the pain scale.

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions About SkinPen
What about the recovery period of my skin and wearing makeup?
SkinPen may cause redness, dryness, and flaking skin. This will resolve within a few days. You will be able to wear makeup after 24 hours.
What will be the treatment interval?
We recommend a series of at least three treatments performed every 4-6 weeks. After the series, a periodical maintenance treatment to maintain the achieved result is recommended. The full facial treatment takes approximately 60 minutes.
Are there any contraindications to SkinPen Microneedling?
SkinPen should be avoided if there is an active skin infection or cold sore. You should not have this treatment if you have used any Retinol product in the last thirty days. You should use caution if you have thin skin, Diabetes or take blood thinners.
